How should I care for my jewellery?
Keep your jewellery looking their best by avoiding direct contact with perfume, hairspray, deodorant, makeup, nail polish remover, body oils, and sunscreen lotion.
Do not swim, physical activity or shower while wearing jewellery, and remove rings when washing your hands. Chlorine, salt water and fresh water can damage precious metals and gemstones by dulling or eroding them. Sterling silver is particularly susceptible to damage from chlorine, which can permanently damage or discolour them. Soapy water when bathing and showering can also leave a thin film, which makes the metal seem dull.
Please note that discolouration, oxidation, and tarnishing are all inherent and inevitable characteristics of plated jewellery that can occur over time. However, we stand behind our quality and believe that with proper care, your jewellery should last.
How should I care for stainless steel jewellery
Although Stainless steel jewellery does not tarnish or corrode and doesn't require special care, it can scratch.
Store your stainless steel pieces separately from jewellery made of other metals. It is best if you keep your stainless steel items in individual bags or pouches.
Stainless Steel jewellery can be worn in water however we recommend not wearing in the ocean or chlorine pools.
How should I clean my jewellery?
Clean your jewellery carefully with a soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth or chamois; this helps maintain or bring back its shine. If necessary, you can use a mild washing up liquid with warm water and a soft toothbrush, then rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Avoid using ‘dip’ polish or abrasive jewellery cleaners as these contain harsh chemicals and can destroy your jewellery over time.
What's the best way to store my jewellerry?
When not using your jewellery, we recommend storing your jewellery separately, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight as well as harsh substances like chlorine. Store them in a cool, dry place, a zip-lock bag, or an individual cloth pouch to help prevent both tarnishing and scratching.
